Job Overview: A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join its employment law practice. Duties:

  • Represent clients in employment law matters, including litigation, arbitration, and administrative hearings.

  • Develop case strategies and participate in settlement negotiations.

  • Take and defend depositions of clients, witnesses, and expert witnesses.

Requirements:

  • Active California Bar License in good standing.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in employment law litigation.

  • Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal advocacy skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet deadlines.

  • Experience handling depositions, hearings, and negotiations.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • California State Bar License (Required).

Skills:

  • Proficiency in employment law statutes and regulations.

  • Strong litigation and trial preparation abilities.
