I think that implementing more routes for some associates who want to advance in their careers would help motivate some of the attorneys here to stay with the firm.

Pros : I really love the people I work with at the firm. Some specialize in certain areas of law while others have expertise in other fields. But people here are willing to help each other. Clients are also respected at the firm.
Cons : Promotions here are few and far in between. One of the issues I have is that there doesn't seem to be too many opportunities here since the partners are kind of set in their ways.
