Profile

Bilingual Assistant Case Manager, Workers' Compensation The candidate will be organizing case files and addressing any issues with the electronic file. Organizing and completing necessary case documentation. Will be monitoring case status. Answering client questions and referring them to the attorney or case manager, if necessary. Scheduling medical appointments, court hearings, and attorney/client meetings. Maintaining client billing. Maintaining attorney calendars. Preparing files for trial. Keeping clients informed about their cases. Completing administrative duties related to the legal process. Other duties as assigned.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 6 months -1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

OR
Must have Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from 4-year college or university; or 1-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience in Workers’ Compensation claims or paralegal certificate is preferable. Must have basic office skills, have previous use of office equipment and machinery, is able to stand for prolonged periods, lift 20 pounds, and speak, write and communicate in both English and Spanish.
