A law firm seeks a motivated and detail-oriented attorney to join its Government Services team in Sparta, NJ. The ideal candidate will have up to 3 years of experience and be licensed to practice law in New Jersey. This role involves advising government officials on legal matters, representing clients in court, and managing legal disputes while adhering to legal standards and regulations.

Duties:

• Advise government officials and entities on legal matters related to government services.
• Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients, including contracts, motions, and settlements.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and before government agencies.
• Negotiate settlements to resolve legal disputes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal standards, regulations, and policies.
• Collaborate with other team members to provide comprehensive legal support to clients.

Requirements:

• Up to 3 years of legal experience, preferably in government services or related areas.
• Strong legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and colleagues.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey, in good standing.
