A law firm in Newport Beach, CA, is seeking a motivated Labor and Employment Associate Attorney to join their established team of litigators. Job Duties:

• Provide legal representation to clients in labor and employment matters, including but not limited to wage and hour disputes, discrimination claims, harassment claims, and employment contract disputes.
• Conduct legal research, analyze complex legal issues, and provide clear and concise written and oral advice to clients.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Handle all aspects of litigation including discovery, motion practice, and court appearances.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and client management.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness.

Requirements:

• Admission to the California State Bar.
• 1-10 years of litigation experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
• Preference for experience in labor and employment law, but general civil litigation experience will also be considered.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
