Paralegal The candidate will be responsible to support the Legal Department with respect to traditional corporate secretary functions including assisting in the maintenance of corporate books and records for banks and related entities and oversight of corporate record retention, serving as primary reviewer of certain types of corporate contracts, serving as preliminary reviewer of other contracts, documents and presentation materials. Preparing, editing, organizing, and maintaining the minutes of such meetings Preparing corporate resolutions, regulatory filings, and other documents. Collecting and organizing data into clear and effective presentations. Overseeing and maintaining records of a multi-stage document review and approval process. Serving as a departmentâ€™s records custodian. Maintaining documents, books and records in accordance with a document retention policy
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelorâ€™s degree required with Paralegal certificate. Must have 8-12 years of experience as a corporate paralegal and 4-6 years in an in-house corporate law department. Law firm experience also desirable. Prior exposure to financial institutions preferred.
