Business Development Manager The candidate will be responsible for business development, sales and service to new and existing clients throughout the United States and globally. Will be responsible for relationship development, while working alongside senior leadership to drive opportunities from start to finish, culminating with increased adoption and usage of GLG’s services across national and global client accounts. Directly engage and build relationships with senior professionals at top law firms, in-house teams and government agencies, and be able to articulate GLG’s premium brand, offering and value proposition. Work creatively and collaboratively with internal colleagues - sales, marketing, legal, research, finance, technology - to deliver solutions to solve complex business issues. Build account plans, set account growth objectives, and quarterback client service teams to achieve those objectives. Assist senior Law leadership in setting goals for the sales team and contributing to strategic discussions around achievement of shared and individual metrics. Effectively communicate GLG’s Mission, Vision, and Strategy. Represent the core values that underpin GLG’s culture. Should have 4+ years of directly related professional experience, such as B2B sales or consulting. Litigation experience or law degree a plus. Strong research skills required. Must have excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Salesforce familiarity required.
