A law firm seeks a skilled mid- to senior-level Corporate M&A and Global Corporate Restructuring Associate to join its thriving corporate practice in Minneapolis. This position offers the opportunity to work with leading Fortune 500 global companies on complex cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience handling substantial corporate transactions focusing on global deals.

Duties:

  • Advise clients on corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and global restructuring.
  • Manage complex cross-border transactions, coordinating with local counsel and stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research to support corporate strategies and ensure compliance across borders.
  • Manage multiple corporate matters simultaneously while maintaining a focus on quality and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with senior partners and clients to formulate effective solutions and strategies.
  • Oversee the execution of complex transactions, ensuring smooth coordination between all parties involved.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of experience practicing corporate law, particularly in cross-border transactions.
  • Extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and global corporate restructuring.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, high-value matters efficiently and independently.
  • Strong organizational, drafting, and research skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the State Bar of Minnesota and qualified to practice law.
