Corporate Legal Administrative Assistant Candidate will assist and support all aspects of a busy corporate practice including: securities offerings, commercial loan representation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate filings and governance issues, and document preparation. Will, on occasion, be in direct contact with clients to schedule meetings and general telephone and must have strong skills in oral communication in a professional setting.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: 10 years of Legal Administrative support experience. Must be bilingual in Spanish and English. Working with individuals within the Firm's Corporate Practice Group, should be highly motivated, able to communicate clearly and professionally, possess a cooperative, team-oriented personal manner and have well-developed administrative and organizational skills. Duties will include general file maintenance, attorney time entry, scheduling, electronic expense requests, electronic file opening, conflict search requests, including coordination with administrative support in other offices for all of the foregoing. Must display a keen eye for detail while working independently and must be able to create Microsoft Office Word documents that require elementary features to complex formatting such as Styles and Formatting, Tables of Authorities and other document related functionalities. Experience with Excel and PowerPoint a plus.
