Profile

Kendall office of our client seeks commercial litigation associate attorney with 7+ years of experience. The candidate will serve in the preparation of pleadings, filings, correspondence and memoranda. Will have appearances in state and federal courts and arbitrations at all stages of proceedings. Participation in team meetings. Legal research and writing, direct client contact. Negotiate settlements for legal disputes. Comply with all legal standards and regulations. Perform administrative and management functions related to practice (timekeeping, billing, CLE). Must be admitted to Florida Bar and Southern District of Florida. General familiarity with and understanding of basic accounting and financial documents is essential. Small book of business is desired. Familiarity with Office 365 is preferred. Familiarity with Prolaw is plus. General background in corporate, LLC and partnership law is desired.
