Legal Administrator / Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for legal communications, registrations, licensing, outside counsel billing, litigation support, and legal administrative duties. Will process registrations, renewals, and amendments for telemarketing and timeshare. Sweepstake registrations. Certificates of Authority applications and renewals. Business License applications and renewals. Bond applications and renewals. Review and code bills from outside counsel and submit for payment. Track billing for outside counsel. Provide litigation support including but not limited to: administering settlements, research, discovery, and document review. Administrative support to Legal. Performs other duties as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the Legal Department. Must have four year college degree. A paralegal degree or certificate is preferred. Must have 3+ years of paralegal experience either within a corporation or law firm. Experience specific to contracts, legal research, litigation and document drafting preferred. Excellent computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Office Intermediate Excel, Word and other office software. Prefer someone with strong Power Point proficiency is required.
