Paralegal Candidate will manage cases from intake to demand. Will investigate claims, communicate with the insurance companies, and manage the process of ordering, tracking, and logging receipt of demand documentation such as medical and wage records. Will be the point of contact for clients, insurance adjusters, lien representatives, and others. Should have the experience to anticipate what a busy attorney’s personal and professional needs are likely to be and the flexibility enough to grow and adapt with the job, knowing that every day brings a new adventure in a busy law firm. Should be able to demonstrate good judgment, the ability to prioritize your activities with minimal supervision to meet deadlines, and coordinate cheerfully with your fellow team members to get the job done. Should always have an above-average ability to learn and adapt as our business grows and takes on new dimensions. Should know how to “get things done” with minimal supervision and doesn’t watch the clock. Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Know how to use: a Mac computer, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Slack, and can get up to speed on case management software. Will be able to work hard, maintain a positive attitude, make well-thought-out suggestions at the appropriate times and follow agreed policies and procedures in-between.
