The candidate should have expertise in public policy and/or public administration to teach in its NASPAA-accredited Master of Public Administration Program and Political Science program beginning Fall 2018. Will be expected to develop and teach courses in the MPA Program as well as teach in the Political Science program, particularly Introduction to American Government classes. The area of specialization within public administration or public policy is open. A Ph.D. in Public Administration, Public Policy, Public Affairs, Political Science, or a closely related field is required and must be obtained within the first academic year of employment. Teaching load is 12 hours per semester. Should be, or have the potential to be, an active scholar and a high quality teacher with the ability to develop and teach fully online courses.
