Corporate Paralegal The candidate will assist with maintenance and management of corporate record books for several company boards and committees. Assist with gathering information; review, summarize and analyze data relative to corporate and regulatory changes and trends impacting the organization enterprise-wide. Facilitate the development and maintenance of filing systems for the Legal Department, including confidential data, and ensure records are accurate and up-to-date. Assist with maintenance of a centralized contract database ensuring compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, company policies and business unit procedures. Under supervision, attend and facilitate board and committee meetings; manage board and committee meeting process including preparing and drafting agendas and meeting materials, and distributing materials; facilitate communication between Legal Operations Supervisor and senior management; maintain appropriate records; assist with meeting administration. Participate in or initiate special projects within the Legal Department to further develop the Department’s efficiency and efficacy. Bachelor’s Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate with a 3+ years of experience in legal or insurance fields are needed. Experience with regulatory compliance and/or corporate governance is preferred. Strong time management and organizational skills are needed. Interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of management and board personnel is needed. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint is needed. Knowledge of SharePoint, legal and/or insurance databases is a plus.
