Legal Intern The candidate will conduct legal research and draft memoranda in areas of law that relate to firm’s business, including in the areas of securities, tax, partnership, limited liability entity, and fiduciary law. Work with firm’s internal legal team to support investment transactions in hedge funds, private equity, real estate and public equity. Review and revise agreements with external business partners and vendors. Assist in drafting and review of transaction documentation. Assist in review, analysis and completion of legal and tax forms and certificates. Assist in responding to requests for public records. Create and maintain subject matter files on relevant topics and legal issues. Must be currently enrolled as a JD student. Should have interest in business/transactional law. Excellent verbal and written communication skills is required. Strong research skills is needed. Good analytical skills is must. Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
