Associate General Counsel II
The candidate will be a working knowledge of federal and state laws affecting benefits and compensation matters including ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, and the Internal Revenue Code including sections 409A and 280G. Providing legal support and advice to the Total Rewards team and benefit fiduciary committees. Maintaining benefit plan documents (health and welfare, 401(k), pension) and day-to-day operations of benefit plans. Planing audits and benefits-related litigation. Advising on labor and employment-related matters and employee communications on benefit matters. Assisting in immigration-related legal matters. Should have a J.D. from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in Missouri. Should have 5+ years of employee benefit and compensation experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, and 3+ years of benefits experience in a corporate law department or law firm. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
