Compliance Analyst II - Employment Compliance
The candidate will provide strong compliance support to ensure timely and accurate problem resolution while mitigating risk exposure. Engage in continuous monitoring, reviewing and completion of impact analysis of legislative and regulatory developments in the employment law space at the federal, state and local level in the areas of wage/Hour, discrimination, leaves, and immigration. Communicate and provide assessments and recommendations to internal business partners around potential impact of regulatory/legislative developments on company, products/service and clients and consult on requirements for product changes and internal/external communications with a focus on supporting myStaffingPro, HROnline and FlexPeople applications. Conduct research on complex compliance risk-centric issues in the employment law arena potentially impacting Paychex products and services, including proactive identification of regulatory and legislative developments which may provide business opportunity or challenges to the company, to support stakeholders in strategic business decisions. Recommends changes to products or services based on research and analysis. Develop and maintain constructive, influential relationships with internal and external business partners to ensure compliance needs are properly communicated and executed, as well as to minimize impact/cost of compliance to Paychex. May represent the company as needed on industry groups/coalitions. Assesses compliance implications of potential acquisitions, new products and product enhancements, advertising/marketing/training materials, and other corporate strategic initiatives to ensure compliance objectives are achieved. Serves as subject matter expert on assigned Paychex products and services, including laws/regulations, enacted and proposed legislation, official guidance, trends, and industry best practices applicable to assigned area of responsibility. Partners with and makes recommendations to Compliance leadership and business management to ensure compliance with pertinent federal, state, local, and international regulatory requirements and company policies. Provides actionable, comprehensive risk analysis on complex regulatory and other compliance matters to internal partners where necessary and as requested. Proactively prepares regular gap and other needs-based analysis and provides risk mitigation measures relative to Paychex products and services to provide risk mitigation measures. Creates opportunities for business partner continuous learning through compliance alerts, weekly letters, webinars, training sessions, and newsletters. Partners with marketing to deliver client facing webinars, webcasts and presentations around employment law topics. Other duties as assigned to support the general purpose of the position’s function.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should preferably have Bachelor's Degree – HR Management, Legal Studies or related concentration. JD degree with L&E experience a plus. Must have 4 years of related experience. Demonstrated expertise in employment law/HR regulations compliance.
