Receptionist / Legal Assistant - Immigration Law The candidate will be greeting guests, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, maintaining office, photocopying, scanning, preparing shipments and ordering office supplies. Will be serving in file opening/closing and management. Projects as assigned by attorneys, such as completing forms, typing and preparing letters and photocopying. Having some interaction with clients, opposing counsel and vendors requiring professional demeanor. Answering telephones and scheduling appointments. Maintain confidential information in a professional and trustworthy manner. Invoicing and collecting payments using QuickBooks.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should preferably have 1 year of previous law office experience. Must preferably have completed a college degree. Excellent organization skills essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills is essential. Must be fluent in English. Computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook) is essential. Must have intermediate to advanced technical skill in Microsoft Office.
