Part-time Administrative / Legal Assistant The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the law firm, including carrying out administrative services, providing support to the attorneys and establishing a welcoming experience for clients of and visitors to the firm. Completes administrative duties including but not limited to making copies, answering and directing phone calls, greeting clients, monitoring and ordering office supplies, and filing. Coordinates appointments, including all correspondence and logistics necessary. Drafts documents and letters using proper templates. Manages legal documentation and correspondence in strict confidence. Assists with inputting data required for tax returns as well as estate and trust accounts. Corresponds with counsel, legal entities and clients. Coordinates billing by producing billing reports and preparing bills. Assists with bookkeeping, as required. Other duties, as assigned. Law firm experience desirable. Undergraduate work in applicable disciplines in lieu of experience, will be considered. Must be proficient in: MS Word; Adobe Acrobat; MS Excel; MS PowerPoint; MS Outlook; MS Access; Use of internet for research. Experience with legal CRM systems desirable.
