ProfileLegal Assistant and Document Manager The candidate will serve as the Office of University Investments’ (OUI) legal assistant and manager of all documents and document management systems. Will work with senior OUI investment team members, outside counsel, and the University’s Office of the General Counsel to obtain a legal review of a wide range of legal documents, complete investment subscription agreements, insure the timely submission of these documents, and other related activities. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining OUI’s electronic and paper document management systems to insure that all documents are well organized and easily accessible to OUI staff. Should have Associate’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Bachelor’s degree highly preferred. Prior legal document management experience highly preferred. Strong analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail and organizational skills are essential. Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, oral, and written). Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and tactfully, projecting a helpful, positive impression. Prior experience with legal documentation management in an investment office desirable.
