ProfileCommercial Counsel The candidate will be leading negotiations for the sale of information technology products and services (including alliance, reseller, channel, hardware, and service engagements). Will be interacting effectively with senior management and have a successful track record as both an advisor and commercial transition leader. Dealing with international business practices, intellectual property, resellers, and commercial contract law. Collaborating with sales, operations, finance, tax, and services to ensure that agreements adequately protect firm's interests. Reviewing and providing input on terms and conditions contained in RFP's and sales proposals. Experience working with large solution providers, outsourcers, and large global service providers is helpful. Must be experienced commercial lawyer or contract manager with 5+ years of domestic and international sales negotiation, transactional, and/or in-house corporate legal experience. Requires extensive knowledge of the information technology industry and detailed knowledge of commercial contracts terms are needed.
