A law firm in Columbus, OH, is seeking an Associate Attorney with a solid foundation in Civil Litigation and Business and Corporate Law. The ideal candidate will possess a license to practice law in Ohio, along with a proven academic and/or client track record. This role requires exceptional client relation skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and strong organizational capabilities.

Duties:

• Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including pre-trial motions, hearings, and trials.
• Assist in the formation and dissolution of business entities, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and discovery materials.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategy and provide informed counsel to clients.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, keeping them informed of case developments.
• Develop and implement strategies for dispute resolution and litigation.
• Manage case files and deadlines to ensure timely progress and adherence to court schedules.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal issues and case preparations.
• Stay current on changes in civil litigation, business law, and relevant legal trends.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Ohio.
• Demonstrated experience in Civil Litigation and Business and Corporate Law.
• Proven academic achievements or a successful client service record.

Certifications:

• Member in good standing with the Ohio State Bar Association.
