CR1905: Corporate Counsel, Staff Job Location U.S. LOCATIONS City or Country Burlingame Job Responsibilities Contracts and Legal Assist with the administration of prime contracts and subcontracts Support of Program Managers and Project Managers on all Contracting Issues Procurement Oversight and Support of Operations Personnel in Procurement Assist with personnel training on Contracting and Procurement Related Issues Oversee SCA and DBA Compliance Assist with or manage project auditing (contracting, procurement and HR Issues) Assist with or oversee cost estimating and proposal support Help in preparation and defense of change orders and claims Assist in managing client and subcontractor relationships Responsible for handling internal legal issues including contracts, real estate, intellectual property, employment and labor law issues, corporate strategy, structure, acquisitions, and other legal areas Select and manage all outside counsel for issues handled externally Responsible for corporate oversight, e.g. assistance with annual reports, corporate functions, establishing new entities, limited involvement with insurance and bonding issues Assist General Counsel with ethics and compliance functions including training, auditing, investigations and risk assessments Responsible for administrative and legal compliance of corporate entities and domestic and international subsidiaries Responsible for handling litigation and dispute resolution in house, and managing outside counsel on those litigation issues that are outsourced In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position Basic Qualifications Licensed to practice law Experience managing filings and records for corporate commitments Skilled in interfacing with various levels throughout the organization Five years experience of legal experience including government contracting managing reporting, documentation, and dispute resolution. EducationThis position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field and a Juris Doctorate degree. Preferred Qualifications MBA preferred
