Legal Assistant (Case Manager) The candidate work into plaintiff's work. Ideal candidate(s) will be familiar with and/or have experience with personal injury claims. Case Managers review and manage client files in conjunction with assigned attorney from initial stages of representation until demand. Case Managers serve as main point of contact for clients and insurance personnel. Case Managerâ€™s primary goals are to compile, review and produce demand packets (with assigned attorney) and to provide exceptional client service. Essential job duties include: Managing large caseload of personal injury files; Communicating with insurance adjusters/defense attorneys; Serving as main point of contact for clients; Compiling/reviewing files for demand; Serving as leader within CM-Case Manager Assistant mini-team; Answering incoming client calls, returning client calls same day and setting proper client expectations; Completing in-depth initial snapshot, 30-day and 60 day reviews of each file; Production of at least 25 accurate and complete demands each month; Organize and manage â€œto-doâ€™sâ€ for 100% completion on daily basis, with no more of 15-20 per day; Responsive communication with assigned Attorney and demonstrate leadership of Case Manager Assistant in â€œmini-teamâ€.
