Legal Assistant The candidate supports two attorneys and requires considerable time management skills as well as the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Ability: The ability to draft legal documents including pleadings and correspondence from written materials and dictation; maintain attorney calendars and assist with practice management including telephone and e-mail communications with clients, attorneys and experts, coordinating depositions and appointments; court filings including E-filings in both federal and state courts; a comfort level with running conflict of interest checks, opening new matters and creating new client memos; and other various administrative duties. Must have 4 years’ experience, will be highly detail oriented with a proven record of reliable attendance and the ability to interact well in a team setting. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, iManage/Filesite, Omega, BigHand and CoreRelate/BEC is highly desirable.
