Associate General Counsel
Responsibilities: Project manage all commercial contract negotiations, renewals and amendments with current and prospective customers, including redlining agreements, negotiating terms via conference call with customers, and synthesizing recommendations to company leadership for decision making purposes. Manage all aspect of RFP submissions including answering client questionnaires, gathering necessary documentation with the business teams for timely submission, registering with various state and local procurement portals as necessary, identifying and remediating potential areas of project risk and escalating as appropriate. Collaborate with the internal Contracts Management team, Deputy General Counsels and outside legal counsel to advance and finalize agreements with customers, track contract compliance and working with business leaders if engagement issues arise. Partner with business leaders, particularly in the State & Local Government segment and the Financial Services Advisory & Compliance segment to create mutual solutions for legal agreements that meet the needs of the customer while minimizing risk to the Company.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: JD Degree. 3 years relevant corporate law and contract negotiation experience (commercial contracts, state and local government contracts, non-disclosure agreements, business associate agreements). Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel. Desired: Proven ability to distinguish business decisions from legal decisions, and clearly communicate to business leaders. Extremely organized and self-motivated, possessing a strong attention to detail. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to work on a cross functional team to execute on objectives through influence and personal skills. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deliverables and deadlines each day. Proven ability to partner with internal clients to drive on timely completion of deliverables.
