Senior Director, Ethics and Compliance The candidate supports the Corporate Ethics and Compliance Officer in planning, directing, and managing the company's organization-wide ethics and compliance program. Participates in the development and implementation of strategies and oversees activities relating to all aspects of the ethics and compliance function. Provides oversight for and manages day-to-day activities of personnel performing diverse ethics and compliance program functions, including training and communications and ethics line case management. Provides leadership direction to the professional staff within the ethics and compliance function. Strategically plans and manages projects to completion, including implementation of new ethics and compliance-related programs. Recommends and develops new ethics and compliance program related policies, procedures and processes. Develops and delivers ethics and compliance-related training to staff at all levels of the organization. Effectively communicates the goals and objectives of the ethics and compliance program to all levels of the organization. Serves as an advocate for the ethics and compliance program and models ethical conduct. Provides guidance on relevant laws and regulations, contractual requirements, policies and procedures, codes of conduct, and internal and relevant external issue-resolution processes. Coordinates closely with the senior executives, internal auditing, human resources, and legal personnel relative to application, interpretation, and enforcement of the organization's policies and procedures. Plans and leads preparation of reports for the company's senior management and board of directors on the ethics and compliance program. Assesses, prioritizes, and manages legal and regulatory compliance risks. Participates in the executive ethics and compliance committee and provides leadership to the coordinating committee for ethics and compliance case triage. Serves as a liaison to legal, human resources, and other disciplines within the organization, and interfaces with and maintains effective relationships with employees from all disciplines and at all levels of the company, from line staff to senior management. Leads, participates in and/or supports projects relating to all elements of the company's organization-wide, comprehensive ethics and compliance program, as needed and directed the Corporate Ethics and Compliance Officer. Must be graduate from an accredited college or university with a JD degree in law or Master's degree in a relevant field is required. 7+ years of experience in ethics and compliance or a related field such as internal audit/assurance, law, government, regulatory and/or legal compliance, including three years of management responsibility, is required. Additional experience may be substituted for education up to two years. Excellent writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills are required. Leadership or oversight experience in ethics and compliance is preferred. Strong project management skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
