Associate Court Attorney (Trial Part) The candidate will research and analyze complex and difficult legal issues and questions. Will confer with and advise judge on legal issues. Assist judges in the courtroom including communication with practitioners and unrepresented litigants. Manage calendars. Write confidential legal memoranda and recommend decisions. Draft confidential opinions, decisions, orders, and correspondence. Conference and review proposed settlements. Arrange and conduct conferences with litigants and other parties to action. Must have admission to the New York State Bar and 4 years of service in the Senior Court Attorney (Trial Part) title OR 6+ years of service in any legal series title in the Unified Court System.
