Duties:

  • Provide legal representation in areas such as family law, criminal and traffic defense, business litigation, real estate closings, estate planning, and personal injury cases

  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, contracts, and briefs
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, hearings, and trials as necessary
  • Collaborate with the legal team and administrative staff to ensure efficient case management

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of experience as a practicing attorney
  • Demonstrated experience in at least one of the firm's practice areas (family law, criminal defense, business litigation, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a full caseload independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Virginia

Skills:

  • Proficient in legal research platforms, such as Westlaw
  • Ability to effectively negotiate and advocate on behalf of clients
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
