Job Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated attorney to manage complex litigation matters in both state and federal courts, with immediate responsibility for case management, legal research, and drafting legal documents. Location:

Duties:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various commercial litigation matters.
- Assist senior attorneys with drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Manage, organize, and oversee all aspects of e-discovery.
- Attend court hearings, mediation sessions, and other legal proceedings as required.
- Participate in all aspects of case development, from inception to conclusion.
Requirements:
- Minimum of four years of litigation experience.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software, particularly with e-discovery management platforms such as Relativity or Nextpoint.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Experience in both state and federal courts.
- A strong candidate will have judicial clerkship experience.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Admission to the Maryland State Bar or the ability to obtain admission.
Skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple cases and projects simultaneously.
- Detailed understanding of commercial litigation procedures.
- Experience with e-discovery management and legal research tools.
