A mid-sized law firm in New Haven, CT, is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join its workers’ compensation defense and third-party subrogation practice. Location:
Duties:
- Represent clients in workers’ compensation defense and third-party subrogation litigation.
- Manage a caseload with a focus on delivering high-quality legal services.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research to support case strategies.
- Attend hearings, depositions, and court appearances as needed.
- Collaborate with clients to provide updates and develop case strategies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of litigation, third-party subrogation, or workers’ compensation experience.
- Ability to manage hearings, court appearances, and client communications effectively.
- Flexibility to work in-office at least three days per week for part-time roles.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Active license to practice law in Connecticut.
