Paralegal Personal Injury DUTIES: Support attorneys in their practice by assisting with gathering, analyzing, and organizing information; drafting legal pleadings, discovery summaries and responses, motions, trial preparations and other documents. Answering and routing calls. Prepare discovery, pleadings, correspondence. E-filing. Summarize medical records. Review Pre-bills for accuracy, i.e. adjuster name, address, claim number. Open files, close files. Prepare Washout Documents. Document management within the case management system. Diary deadlines in case management program. Remind Attorney of deadlines and complete same within case management program. Works collaboratively with assigned attorneys in preparing legal documentation and/or processing transactions. Interviews clients; locates and interviews expert witnesses. Drafts legal documents including but not limited to discovery, motions, summary judgment motions, appellate briefs, affidavits, memoranda, and letters. Investigates factual information to respond to litigation discovery requests or other information inquiries. Manages cases and files; organizes and maintains files. Assists in all phases of case preparation including discovery and trial. Prepares for and attends trials. Prepares jury instructions and trial binders; coordinates trial exhibits. Provides general logistical help and supports the maintenance of legal files. Assists in development and implementation of office systems and procedures as needed. Assists with special projects as assigned. Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bi Lingual English/Spanish Excellent grammatical and spelling skills. Proficient on Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. Experience with Client Profiles/Aderant Total Office is a plus. Commitment to excellence and high standards. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
