Job Overview:

A law firm seeks an ambitious Corporate and Transactional Attorney with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience to join a growing legal team in Southern Maine. Duties:

• Handle corporate and real estate transactions, including acquisitions, leasing, and financing.
• Provide legal advice to clients on commercial and residential real estate matters.

• Draft, negotiate, and review contracts and agreements related to corporate and real estate transactions.
• Work independently and in conjunction with senior attorneys to deliver high-quality legal services.
• Develop strong client relationships and maintain open lines of communication throughout legal matters.
• Participate in building and expanding a personal book of business.

Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years of experience in corporate law and real estate transactional practice.
• Active or eligible license to practice law in Maine.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Enthusiasm for learning and working collaboratively with senior attorneys.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Maine or eligibility for admission promptly.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and research capabilities.
• Effective negotiation and contract drafting skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
