Litigation Paralegal The ideal candidate will assist attorney(s) in all phases of the litigation process, including motion practice, client contact, discovery, trial preparation and file analysis. Will be expected to take full ownership of files from first contact with clients to litigation conclusion, including but not limited to, fact gathering, medical records requests and follow up, preparation and management of discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, as well as perform all ad hoc administrative tasks.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a complete working knowledge of Connecticut State Court practice. Federal Court knowledge a plus but not required. 3-5 years of experience is required. Paralegal certificate needed. Must be highly motivated, detail-oriented and a problem solver. In addition, must possess excellent organizational skills, ability to follow directions, work independently, and be able to multi-task and prioritize assignments as necessary.
