A law firm seeks a collaborative Associate Attorney to join its Tax practice in Columbus, OH. This position presents a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated attorney with experience in tax law, particularly in advising tax-exempt organizations.

Duties:

• Provide legal guidance on tax law matters, focusing on tax-exempt organizations under Code Sections 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), and 501(c)(6).
• Assist clients with the management of restricted funds and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Conduct detailed legal research and prepare various legal documents, including memos, briefs, and client correspondence.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategic approaches tailored to client needs.
• Stay updated on relevant changes in tax laws and regulations to offer informed advice to clients.

Requirements:

• A minimum of two years of experience in tax law is required.
• Experience working with tax-exempt organizations and knowledge of charitable solicitation rules is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex legal issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the bar of the state where you will practice is required.
