Corporate Paralegal The candidate will maintain and track data for 100+ world-wide subsidiaries of the company, process legal invoices from vendors providing legal and litigation-related services to the company, provide backup to other legal support personnel and perform such other tasks/undertake other projects as may be assigned from time-to-time. Will work closely with Group General Counsel, various Legal team members, Finance, Internal Audit and external counsel. Serve as custodian of corporate subsidiary records and interfacing with internal and external resources regarding corporate governance and record-keeping. Review and process board resolutions for non-U.S. subsidiaries. Manage changes of officers and directors of subsidiaries. Maintain and update database for all subsidiaries of the company. Manage software program for processing invoices from law firms and others services providers. Approve, process and track payment of legal invoices; reconcile to budget. Assisting members of the legal department on a wide variety of legal matters as may be required to facilitate the efficient and effective delivery of legal services. Serve as backup to other in-house Paralegals or support staff.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education sufficient to indicate ability to be successful in the position. Paralegal certification preferred. Experience as an in-house corporate paralegal and/or with Boards of Directors is a plus. Certified Notary Public a plus. 5+ years’ experience in a public company legal department and/or equivalent experience is preferred. High level proficiency Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat. Experience with DocuSign, Serengeti Law Tracker and SharePoint a plus. High degree of organizational skills and professionalism. Ability to work in a team-orientated environment and meet tight deadlines. Project management and time management skills. This position may involve overtime work, based on business needs.
