The successful candidate will have 3+ years of litigation experience, strong writing and analytical skills, and a desire to appear in court. Key Duties:

  • Manage and litigate cases from start to finish, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies and provide legal advice.
  • Engage in settlement negotiations and strategy meetings.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations relevant to cases.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate case files and documentation.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of litigation experience, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex cases.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school.
  • Experience in healthcare and/or energy litigation is preferred.
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.
  • Strong desire to appear in court and handle diverse litigation matters.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Texas State Bar Association.
