Senior Corporate Paralegal and Compliance Specialist Responsibilities: Support in-house legal team in all matters. Provide business-oriented compliance and legal support in the following areas:. Privacy and other regulatory compliance projects. Equity compensation. Corporate governance, including subsidiary entity management. Licensing. Organize and manage the internal contract review, completion, and filing process. Conduct and synthesize factual research and legal due diligence related to large transactions. Provide litigation support, including working with outside counsel as necessary. Demonstrate a high standard of confidentiality and professionalism.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certification. 5+ years' corporate paralegal or equivalent legal experience focusing on corporate transactional work and/or privacy and data security compliance. Proven analytical ability and research skills. Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage several projects at once. Preferred: Experience with in-house legal team at a large company or large law firm. Contract review and negotiation experience. Demonstrated proficiency managing GDPR and other similar regulatory compliance management programs.
