Seeking a Corporate Paralegal with 2+ years of corporate and securities experience. Candidate will handle private and public company financings and mergers, including coordinating closings and preparing related documents; preparing legal opinions and assembling opinion back-up; preparation of corporate and securities filings, organization of corporate records for both private and public companies; preparation of stock certificates and ledgers; and other tasks as assigned by attorneys. Must have a BA/BS degree; paralegal certificate is a plus, as is familiarity with Carta, eShares, or similar Web based equity tracking system. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, be detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and track extensive details, and have the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with personnel and to handle confidential information sensitively and discreetly.

The law office should step away from only focusing on attorneys and should also look into helping other staff. Also, there is a need for affordable benefits.

Pros : The law firm is composed of employees and staff which are respectful and very knowledgeable. The law firm is unique in the sense that they embrace a different type of work culture.
Cons : The law firm does a poor job of offering benefits to staff and employees which are affordable. The management team seems to focus more on staff that includes attorneys.
