Regional Legal Counsel The candidate will work closely with firmâ€™s sales operations and revenue departments to help define and construct contracts, sales agreements and revenue models. Advise firmâ€™s business units and other organizations on contract negotiation objectives and strategy, general IP strategies and issues and/or dispute resolution with third parties. Act as a trusted advisor on legal issues to business units and all levels of firm personnel, up to and including senior executives. Conduct due diligence for acquisitions and support other special projects and initiatives, as needed. Drafting and negotiation of contracts pertaining to technology issues, intellectual property, and vendor contracts; Counsel business units and other organizations on contract negotiation objectives and strategy, general IP strategies and issues and/or dispute resolution with third parties; Conduct due diligence for acquisitions, as needed. Should preferably have 2-5 years of experience handling contract negotiations, licensing and commercial transactions. Should have JD degree and active state bar membership in the state where they would be practicing.
