Corporate Legal Assistants The candidate will be assisting attorneys in all aspects of Real Estate matters. Will be drafting and preparing closing papers. Organizing and attending closings. Preparing and updating timetables and checklists. Conducting research. Organizing and maintaining documents. Reading and editing documents for sense, consistency, cross references, format, facts, calculations and typos. Obtaining comments on draft documents from other parties. Preparing correspondence. Summarizing, outlining, abstracting and comparing documents. Organizing conferences and providing assistance. Preparing draft documents. Providing closing assistance. Preparing documents for Records. Preparing memorandum of closing. Reviewing title matters. Assisting other members of the Real Estate group as needed; and Performing other duties as assigned. Must have a Bachelor’s degree. Should have 2+ years of legal assistant/paralegal experience. Experience working in a corporate legal environment with a Real Estate background is required.
