Documentation Associate II
The candidate will review and negotiate complex agreements, and language in other documents required to allow client's engagement in products and services for commercial clients. Will be responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive positive customer experience. Communicate directly and effectively with clients, management line of business partners and other groups regarding client on-boarding, client documentation, and related compliance information. Draft and negotiate standard and complex commercial agreements and documents with clients. Perform high level reviews of commercial agreements and understand the terms that impact client on boarding and the bank's ability to effectively and compliantly provide commercial services to the client. Ensure client satisfaction as an extension of the Line of Business through partnership with internal groups and by providing timely, clear and effective responses to requests. Lead discussions with line of business partners, risk and other internal groups which review the bank protections that are included in current client agreements and identify any gaps or risk that may exist due to negotiated terms. Oversee the day-to-day on-boarding process for commercial clients . timely manner while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Ensure client data and client documents are accurate and have been saved in bank approved IT system(s) in compliance with regulatory and record keeping requirements. Assist in establishing and monitoring KRIs/KPIs and creating associated SLAs to minimize risk to bank and provide superior client service. Perform root cause analysis and implement and lead corrective action plans related to KRIs/KPIs and other risks or identified issues related to client on boarding and/or client documentation. Develop and maintain. detailed knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and best practices, and be able to communicate this knowledge to clients and internal groups including Legal, Compliance, Risk, Business Controls, Operations and Line of Business partners. Assist with maintenance of client on-boarding. documentation group policies and procedures. Assist with the implementation of necessary processes and procedures to address future regulations that become applicable to Commercial products. Contribute and ta. leadership role in projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of on-boarding. documentation processes to enhance the bank's commercial businesses with little to no supervision. Perform any other duties assigned. Possible managerial responsibility of direct reports. Expected to serve subject matter expert in all of the functions of the documentation team including client on boarding, regulatory requirements, and document review negotiations. Serve as escalation contact for other team members and roles if Client Documentation. On boarding manager is unavailable. Work with the Client Documentation. On boarding Manager to train and develop the skills of other members of the Documentation Team.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should preferably have 6+ years commercial products, compliance, legal or paralegal experience. B.A. or equivalent work experience. Post Graduate Degree preferred (JD degree or MBA is preferred). Exceptional written and oral communication skills is essential. Must have advanced level understanding of Microsoft Office programs; experience with commercial banking platform is plus.
