ProfileSummer 2018 Internship Intern will assist the organization in pursuing international supply chain transparency, exploring innovative civil litigation ideas, and developing new strategies for human rights and environmental accountability across the globe. Although the timing is flexible, the student will ideally begin in late May 2018 and intern through early August 2018. Interns will be given assignments related to Corporate Accountability Lab’s research areas and will be expected to conduct legal and factual research and to produce memos in a timely manner. Interns will be oriented to Corporate Accountability Lab’s research methods and expectations, and will receive assistance in legal writing and the development of writing samples. Students will be given opportunities to explore pressing global human rights issues through local events and direct engagement with advocates in the field. Must have strong writing skills. Fluency in oral and written English is needed. Experience with relevant coursework is desirable. Familiarity with and access to legal research databases is required. Should have computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, internet applications).
