Paralegal The candidate will provide day to day administrative support regarding the creation and maintenance of files (both hard-copy and electronic) related to contracts prepared by and overseen by the group. Maintain fund minute books and records housed at the Scottsdale office for the Voya funds. Organize and maintain filing systems (in electronic and hard-copy formats). Assist in the maintenance of excel spread sheets tracking material terms in these contracts. Draft email correspondence regarding fee changes in contracts which result in changes being made to this tracking spread sheet. Draft routine memoranda regarding certain proposals before the Board. Coordinate between project managers and attorneys in the collection of data to support certain proposals before the Board. Review and proofread certain items distributed to internal and external clients. Review certain disclosure documents to ensure they align with contracts. Gather internal/external signatures on various legal documents. Other duties as assigned. Engage in self learning and training regarding the Investment Company Act of 1940 to better understand the “why” of the duties performed. Must have High School diploma or equivalent and Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Should have 2 - 4+ years of office experience; 1+ in legal, financial or compliance environment preferred. Should have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Officer products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), MS Outlook; and ADOBE. Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
