Attorney The candidate should have 2-3 years of experience within a law firm, an understanding of how to seek out and develop new business, and who wants to join a firm that will allow for growth while providing infrastructure and experience to support clients and new business Specifically, candidates will be required to: Attend networking events Contribute material to firm newsletters, blog and video library. Provide 24/7/365 availability if client matter is urgent, including local and out of town travel when needed. Update each client weekly on the status of their matter. Attend 40 hours of continuing legal education per year, including 16 hours on tax and related issues. Serve at least 12 hours per year in a pro-bono capacity, either volunteering at a legal services agency, serving on the board of a charitable entity, or similar service. Meet billable hour and overall hourly goals. Develop new client opportunities and bring in additional revenue Candidates should possess excellent communication and organizational skills along with technical expertise that includes strong analytical and written skills.
