Personal Trust Onboarding Officer The Candidate will be responsible for working directly with registered investment advisors, attorneys and end clients to provide superior client experience throughout trust transfer, setup and on-boarding process . Responsible for reviewing trust agreements and court documents to determine acceptability and process of transferring a trust. Responsible for effective communication and follow up with registered investment advisors, family attorneys, Delaware Counsel, the end client, and other internal company partners (e.g. service and operations). Responsible for providing advisors and clients with clear guidance regarding the process, the information, the forms and the legal documents necessary to accomplish the transfer and/or setup of a trust. Responsible for coordinating with attorneys (Delaware or otherwise) to accomplish any judicial or non-judicial process necessary to insure that trusts comply with the Delaware Directed Trust Statute. Responsible for preparing all necessary paperwork to establish new accounts. Responsible for providing recommendations for changes to onboarding policies, procedures and work flow. Responsible for compliance with policies and procedures during the new business process regarding Account acceptance, Asset eligibility, OFAC, AML and Customer Identification Program. Participate in special projects as needed

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have Bachelors degree or higher, JD or CTFA preferred with 5+ years experience in personal trust, banking or legal/paralegal. Must possess strong knowledge of personal trusts and practical experience with trusts governed by Delaware law or equivalent legal/paralegal experience with Delaware Trusts and estates. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, coupled with strong problem solving techniques, in order to communicate effectively with registered investment advisors, attorneys and the end client. Superior organization skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities without sacrificing quality or accuracy. Must be highly motivated and a self-starter
