Qualification and Experience
a JD degree and licensed to practice law in any US state. • 3+ years investment management experience. Work experience at a top law firm, a financial institution or a hedge fund is preferred. • experience with private fund- and bank-related regulatory frameworks, including the Securities Act of 1933, Securities Exchange Act of 1934, Investment Advisers Act of 1940, Investment Company Act of 1940, Dodd Frank, Bank Holding Company Act and ERISA, as well as regulations promulgated under FINRA, CFTC and the NFA. • working knowledge of non-US regulations such as AIFMD, MIFID, EMIR and UCITS. • ability to work in a large organization and collaboratively with many different groups in the bank. • must be able to project manage as well as supervise work among outside counsel and other service providers. • work on a global platform and therefore understand how to find cross-border solutions which will involve many different issues from the relevant jurisdictions. • strong time management skills and efficient utilization of technology.
