Staff Attorney The candidate will be drafting legislative bills. Will be serving as legal counsel to and staffing General Assembly Courts of Justice and Finance Committees. Serving as a legal resource to members of the General Assembly on legislative matters. Serving as primary staff to legislative commissions and studies. Experienced attorneys must have 6+ years of experience in criminal or civil litigation, or taxation or public finance law. Must be an attorney currently licensed in Virginia. Must have additional requirements include excellent oral and written communication and legal analysis and research skills. Knowledge of Virginia legislative process is a plus.
