Legal Assistant The candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing processes to support these teams. Will coordinate communications within Verily, with outside counsel, and government regulators. Work with legal, regulatory affairs, compliance, and policy teams to simplify, organize, and streamline their efforts in support of the business. Conduct research and stay current in key areas relevant to the legal, regulatory affairs, policy, and compliance team's work. Create and oversee internal processes and operational systems to help the team scale, including gathering and organizing relevant information and documentation to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team. Assist in the preparation of documents, filings and registrations required to comply with law. Draft, coordinate, and partner to create internal communications to product teams and the organization, including development and maintenance of websites or other effective tools, and providing support for training programs. Assist with other projects and needs as they arise. BA/BS degree is essential. Experience in the legal, regulatory, policy, or related field is essential. Should preferably have 2+ years of experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant (in-house or at a law firm, or comparable experience elsewhere). Experience working in a fast-paced or start-up environment is essential. Must have knowledge and experience with G Suite including Gmail, Google Drive, Sheets, and Presentations.
