# International Tax Quantitative Solutions - Senior Associate ## Overview PwC’s Insourced Solutions for Tax team provides multinational clients with complete tax life-cycle services, including US and cross-border tax forecasting, provision, US international tax compliance and reporting, and a forward-looking approach to addressing tax controversy. Our team coordinates with the PwC global network on international tax compliance. We offer curated client-tailored solutions using a managed services approach that leverages PwC’s technology solutions. As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will collaborate with tax specialist across PwC to provide merger and acquisitions support, tax technical and quantitative analysis, tech-enabled solutions, and global tax structuring planning and implementation. ## Job Requirements and Preferences **Basic Qualifications:** - Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Corporate Law and Taxation, Taxation, International Business, Accounting & Finance - 2 years of experience - CPA, eligible to sit for the CPA exam with a commitment to pass CPA exam before being promoted to Manager, or Member of the Bar. An active, qualifying credential is required as a condition for promotion to Manager. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Master Degree in Accounting, Taxation, Corporate Law and Taxation - CPA, Member of the Bar **Preferred Knowledge/Skills:** - In-depth quantitative analyses including earning and profit studies, subpart F, GILTI, FDII and foreign tax credit computations; - Foreign tax reporting and international taxation compliance regulations; - Assisting companies to understand and assess the tax impact of company business, operations and transactions in multiple jurisdictions; and, - Possessing considerable knowledge of corporate tax including tax research, compliance and consulting within an international taxation environment; and the practices of public accounting firms, law firms or multinational company corporate tax departments. - Creating and analyzing complex computation and reporting solutions, with the ability to clearly articulate findings to clients in visual, verbal and written formats; - Analyzing and working with complex subjects utilizing problem solving skills to deliver results; - Leveraging intellectual curiosity and agility to teach oneself how to use new technology platforms to solve our clients’ problems; - Leveraging, developing, and/or managing technology solutions to enable and improve client solutions; - Seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; - Building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement; - Communicating value propositions; - Managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections; - Preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials; - Supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust; - Seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; and, - Coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback. - Experimentation with automation & digitization in a professional services environment including but not limited to: - Innovating through new and existing technologies, along with experimenting with digitization solutions; - Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools; and, - Exposure to pricing, client value and the negotiation process - including reviewing contracts and finding opportunities to introduce new pricing options. **Salary Information:** For positions based in Albany (NY), California, Colorado, Nevada, New York City, Washington State, or Westchester County (NY), please visit the following link for pay range information: ## Working with Us At PwC, we are committed to providing purpose-led and values-driven leadership at every level.
